Meet The Team

Craig Edwards
Owner & Head Coach
Craig began his weightlifting journey in 2013 under the guidance of a former Australian Olympic Weightlifting head coach. What started as a passion for competing quickly grew into a love for coaching, and Craig spent several years volunteering and assisting other athletes.

After more than a decade in Olympic Weightlifting, Craig joined CrossFit CrossAxed as a member in 2021. CrossFit brought his passion for training and coaching together, and he began coaching classes in 2022.
In 2026,
Craig became the owner of CrossFit CrossAxed. Having experienced the gym first as a member and then as a coach, he understands what makes the CrossAxed community special and is committed to continuing to build a gym where people of all fitness levels feel welcome, supported and challenged.

Craig’s main goal is to make a positive impact on every person who walks through the doors. He aims to give every member at least one helpful coaching tip during each class and takes great pride in seeing people build confidence and achieve things they didn’t believe they were capable of.

He continues to develop his knowledge and coaching skills with an open mind as CrossFit and the wider fitness industry evolve.
Craig’s qualifications include:

-
CrossFit Level 2 Trainer
-

A word from Craig:
“My goal for CrossFit CrossAxed is to create a gym where every person feels like they belong, regardless of their age, experience or current fitness level. We want to meet people where they’re at, coach them properly and help them build strength, confidence and fitness that carries over into the rest of their lives.

I’ve experienced CrossAxed as a member, a coach and now as the owner, and I’m proud of the community we have built. I want every person who comes through our doors to feel supported, receive quality coaching and know that we genuinely care about their progress.”

Christina Livaditakis
Senior Coach
Christina Livaditakis has been training CrossFit since 2017, coming from a diverse sports background. CrossFit initially served as a way to stay fit and challenged, but she quickly excelled and began coaching in the same year, building on her experience coaching high school water polo. Her coaching journey began in Zimbabwe, where she coached for a year before moving to Australia in 2018. From 2018 to 2022, Christina coached in NSW before relocating to Queensland.
Her coaching philosophy emphasises safety and movement quality, ensuring members get the most out of their sessions with minimal risk of injury while also keeping things fun. Christina is driven by a desire to help people transform their lives through hard work in health and fitness.
Her personal mantra is, “I believe everyone has the power to create the life they wish to live. I believe, no matter the privileges, that everyone is capable of turning their life into anything they wish it to be.
Coming from a third world country, I have seen many people stuck in the mindset of settling for the life they have, but have also seen many great people turn their life around, and that’s exactly what I am trying to achieve and only wish to help others do the same thing through health and fitness.”
